We spent the next day at Nelson's Founders Park for the 'Lest We Forget' ANZAC commemorative reenactment. It was an amazing way to celebrate ANZAC and the Dramatix Theater put on an amazing show, it was like being on a movie set! There were gun fights, air raids, a concentration camp and a living recreation of a trench, it really was amazing and moving. Here are our photos of the day .......

Two Birthdays one night
Next stop, The Tap in Mapua in the lovely Nelson region. We booked a family motel unit to share with our good friends JR & Kirsty who came to party with us, it just so happens that day was Sarah & JR's birthday and so our night begins!

After breakfast we had a little stroll around the shops and found the perfect place to relax
Now our friend Miss Kirsty Keen is holding an exhibition of her wonderful art in Nelson this coming weekend! Which will mark the end of her Refinery Art Space Residency 2011.
